On 7 March 2026, our team partnered with the local community to host a dedicated pet microchipping event in Strubens Valley — giving local dog and cat owners a convenient opportunity to ensure their beloved companions are properly identified and registered.

Microchipping is a simple, quick and virtually painless procedure that inserts a tiny identification chip under your pet’s skin. This chip links to an owner’s contact information, so if a pet is lost and later found, it can be scanned and reunited with its family quickly.

The event was well-attended by pet lovers from around the area, all keen to protect their furry friends and give themselves peace of mind. Going forward, events like this help strengthen responsible pet ownership and support community safety efforts throughout Strubens Valley.
