Safety and Security
Crime was increasing at unacceptable levels. The catalyst to form LIFCO was when a business owner was tragically killed in an armed robbery at the Strubensvalley Shopping Centre.
Since then, leaps and bounds have been made in security with an active residents’ participation, camera network and monitoring, as well as a security forum consisting of active security companies in the area.
LIFCO camera network
Our camera network spans across both upper Strubens Valley and Little Falls. These cameras are owned, hosted and monitored by security companies in the area, with our main monitoring service coming from BCI security.
